It is a humbling experience to step into someone’s personal world for the opportunity to make their heavy days lighter…
Whether it is a child having anxiety with parental separation,
An adolescent struggling with self-acceptance, self-harm, and depression,
An emerging adult having difficulties regulating their emotions or engaging in unhealthy coping skills,
Or simply a family struggling to communicate and cope through life’s challenges…
I am here for you.
It is my belief that while certain experiences may be universal, each person and their story is inherently unique.
Throughout our therapy, I will walk alongside you, and try to understand the direction you want to take in your life, while helping you develop insight into what may be impeding you from your goals.
I recognize that therapy may be a leap of faith for some.
It can be daunting allowing yourself to be vulnerable when just meeting someone. Knowing this, I ensure to take my time in developing a working relationship with you where you will feel a sense of acceptance and, most importantly, warmth.
“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.” –Sophia Bush
I feel this speaks closely to my personal values and the therapeutic environment I strive to create. Throughout your journey with me, you will be accepted unconditionally and practice embracing a sense of self-acceptance, while also inspiring you to meet your goals.
When you leave my office, it is my hope that you leave feeling that you were understood, cared for, and accepted.
I realize that not everyone’s house feels like a home… but when sitting in a room with me, it will feel like you are sharing in a space that feels like you are finding your way back home.
We will begin by exploring your narrative through a casual, non-judgmental conversation. I will then cater my treatment to your goals by strengthening the areas in your life where you shine, and working through the areas of your life that have been met with suffering. This may include mindfulness techniques in order to establish a sense of equilibrium, learning how to have healthier boundaries, and enhancing communication within your relationships. We will also explore how your perception of life may be blocking your ability to radically accept yourself and allow healing to occur.
About me…
Working in this field brings me a sense of fulfillment and purpose.
Coming from a family background of finance and business, I always thought that I would follow in those footsteps. However, when learning about those subjects, they never brought me a sense of fulfillment and I knew I could not move forward with that career path.
As soon as I started learning about psychology and working with clients…I knew I had found my purpose in life. Finally I had found something that brought me joy in my daily work life.
Since a young age, I took a deep interest in understanding the emotions and behaviors of others.. It was always important to me, that the people I interacted with felt like they had someone they could lean on or turn to. I feel one of the most basic human needs is to feel understood and cared for. If I am able to accomplish this through my work, I believe I have served my purpose.
Despite my focus on the needs of others, I recall having difficulties practicing self-love and acceptance.. I needed to take my own journey to be able to practice this in my daily life. Having gone through my own challenges has only increased my resilience as well as my empathy towards others. I strive to be able to help others on their own journey and develop their resiliency for life.
When I am not in the office…
I am what you may call a proud “dog mom.” I may be biased, but I swear she is the best and sweetest pup out there.
Whenever I get the chance, I love traveling and learning about other cultures…as well as trying new foods!
The beach is my ultimate happy place and is where I enjoy spending my free time.
I love relaxing with friends and family whether it be watching Netflix or reality TV shows, or having game nights with good laughs.

An important lesson that has been embedded in me, throughout my training and experience, is that while people do not always remember what you say, they do remember how you make them feel. Creating an environment where you can feel safe to share the intimate moments in your life is something that I prioritize and value.
I encourage you to lean into the goals you have been envisioning for so long and go on this journey with me, and begin making your heavy days lighter.
